About Checkers

Checkers offers shoppers “all the right ingredients” with the widest range of fresh, ambient and non food lines of any retailer in the Channels Islands, including nearly 3000 Waitrose lines and a Robert Dyas "shop-in-shop" in every Checkers supermarket.

In 2009, the Checkers brand was reinvigorated to reveal a fresh new look emphasising the freshness and quality of our food, supported by the reintroduction of our fresh meat, fish, deli and rotisserie counters staffed by local experts.

2009 also heralded the return of Checkers to TV and Radio in Jersey and Guernsey as part of an integrated marketing campaign which includes regular press advertising.  This strategy has been very effective in driving excellent sales growth and remains in place to this day.

Checkers St Saviour has now also introduced a bigger and better pharmacy.
