SandpiperCI Donates £500 to Maison des Landes Jersey

02 May 2017

Maison des Landes is a charitable Trust set-up by the Lions Club of Jersey to provide holidays in Jersey specifically for people with a disability along with their family, friends and carers.

Recently SandpiperCI donated £500.00 to mark the 50th Anniversary of Maison des Landes. A recent letter by Kennith Syvret (Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee) sent to Tony O’Neill (CEO SandpiperCI) said:

“The Trustees expressed delight at your response and the kindness and thought which have prompted the donation. We launched the main appeal today (27th April) and to have your support in making the 50th Anniversary of the hotel is valued, particularly as Le Riches were there so many years ago showing equal encouragement to us.

Please convey to your fellow Directors the thanks of the Trustees of Maison des Landes and of course, in due course, the local disabled person who will enjoy a holiday at the hotel.”

Maison des Landes Hotel – in Jersey – has been catering for guests with all manner of disabilities since the 1960s. They endeavour to provide everything guests may require in tailored accommodation, from electric beds to ceiling hoists, as well as wheel-in wet rooms and a large, readily accessible hydrotherapy pool.

More than that, their caring staff will ensure you are served good food, enjoy wonderful excursions and experience a matchless party atmosphere. With guests returning time and again, making new friends and meeting up with old familiar faces, Their Hotel offers a stimulating experience like no other.
