Iceland

Iceland is well known for its specialisation in frozen food with more than 700 stores across the UK and Ireland employing more than 17,000 people. Stores are located in busy shopping areas and are dedicated to making food shopping fast and easy. Iceland's motto is ‘Food You Can Trust’ and was the first UK retailer to ban GM ingredients, artificial colours and flavours from own-label lines. Food is clearly labelled so customers are able to determine exactly what's in the pack.  On the 18th November this year Iceland will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of its first shop in Shropshire.
 
The brand has been extremely successful. Our first store opened in May 2008 at Georgetown has gone from strength to strength.This store has now been joined by another unit in Jersey at Bath Street on the 10th March 2011. Quennevais Parade, opened in November 2010 and at Galeries du Manoir in Guernsey which opened in August 2010. All stores carry an extensive range of food products to support the in depth frozen food range.

We are planning to open further units in 2012.
