Grand Re-opening of Le Cocq’s Store at Le Huret
Today, Wednesday 16th March 2022, marks the grand re-opening of our newly refurbished Le Cocq’s Store at Le Huret in Alderney.

New-look store!
Acquired 18 months ago, we have launched hundreds of new products across our chilled and ambient grocery ranges, as well as bringing a more modern look and feel to the store.

"We’re really excited to welcome all our Alderney customers into their new-look Le Huret store. We’ve done an extensive range of work bringing in hundreds of new product lines, extending our fresh, frozen, and food-to-go offerings, including many new ‘grab & go’ products and a coffee machine. In addition, our fish counter is now open with a large selection of fresh, locally supplied fish. Alderney President William Tate joins us in cutting the ribbon, followed by a raffle throughout the day and a new line tasting table. We look forward to welcoming our customers."
About the new store
Discover a variety of new lines across our store, including additional fresh and frozen ranges, ‘Free From’ core-staples and on-the-go items, which are marked with new in-store signage. Choose from tasty additions to our cake section, including Morrisons branded cake slices, flapjacks, and butterfly cakes. Gluten free? You can now choose from tasty treats from our Morrisons Free From range, including lemon cakes, raspberry macaroon slices and more. Plus, you can now have great coffee on the go with our new self-serve coffee machine made with freshly ground coffee beans and milk.
Open Day – what’s going on?
On Wednesday 16th March 2022, we have a variety of events taking place to celebrate the re-opening of the one-stop shop;
- Grand re-opening with ribbon cut by Alderney President William Tate
- Every paying customer will get a raffle ticket at the checkout for their chance to win several prizes from Easter eggs to vouchers. We will draw the winners at the close of business and announce them on Le Cocq’s Facebook page
- Tasting tables comprising some of our new products from our bakery and food to go ranges, including gluten free treats
