Hotel Chocolat donate to local Scouts
Hotel Chocolat were delighted to donate Easter prizes to St Ouen’s Scout Group for their Easter Scavenger Hunt.

Over the Easter weekend, St Ouen’s Scout Group hosted a fantastic island-wide family event (following all the correct Covid guidelines, of course!) in which Group members, and the general public, could get out and about and enjoy themselves whilst raising some much-needed funds for the Group.
Executive Committee Member, Kate Hart said: “On behalf of the 1st Jersey (St Ouen) Scout Group, I would like to say thank you to SandpiperCI and Hotel Chocolat for donating the winning prize for the Scavenger Hunt held over the Easter weekend. We had great support and have raised approximately £500 – which is just a fantastic amount for our Group.”
St Ouen’s Scout Group is run by an enthusiastic team of trained volunteers who pride themselves on providing wide-ranging opportunities for young people throughout the year. Activities include, team building, camping, leadership skills, making new friends and the opportunity to go kayaking, take RIB rides and learn about our beautiful Jersey seas whilst developing skills for life.
Throughout the pandemic, the group has been lucky enough to adapt their meetings and activities to online zoom sessions and have continued Scouting, albeit in a different form.
