Monthly charity round-up May 2023

May has been a very rewarding month for us, with lots going on from supporting community events to raffle prize donations. Below is our round-up of charity donations for the last month.

Alderney Animal Welfare Society open day

We were delighted to support the recent Open Day held by Alderney Animal Welfare Society in celebration of their Platinum Jubilee year. As a token of appreciation to our donation of refreshments and beverages, the charity kindly made us an official ‘Friend of Alderney Animal Welfare Charity’.

Street Pastors

We were pleased to once again support Street Pastors by donating 1,000 lollies. Volunteers hand them out when approaching people at the weekend who may need some help getting home.

Jersey World Bowls Team fundraiser event

We were happy to support the Jersey World Bowls Team fundraiser Race night, by doanting a bottle of champagne from Morrisons Daily Benest as a raffle prize. The team is raising funds to represent Jersey and participate in the World Bowls Event in Australia!

Jersey Mencap South Coast Charity Challenge

We were more than pleased to support Mencap Jersey with their annual South Coast Charity Challenge by donating 400 bags of crisps and cereal bars which were given out to the walkers at the checkpoints. Well done to everyone who took part, you were all amazing!

Liberation Day Afternoon Tea

We were happy to support St Heiler with their celebratory Liberation afternoon tea with senior parishoners by donating a £25 Sandpiper voucher for their raffle.

St Martins School Guernsey

We were happy to support the St Martins School with their fundraiser by donating a £25 Matalan voucher as a raffle prize.
