This is not just any store…

We’re proud to announce the official opening day for the brand-new Wimborne Minster M&S Food store. The new M&S Food Wimborne Minster store opens at Crown Mead shopping centre on Thursday 12th October 2023 at 9am.

The brand new 4,000 sq ft store will be opened by local primary pupils from St John’s CE VC First School helped by M&S’s beloved iconic  Percy Pig™, with Wimborne Minster’s mayor, Cllr Diann March and Wimborne Minster’s Town Crier also in attendance.

The store will offer local customers delicious and iconic M&S Food favourites, including fresh produce and meat from M&S Select Farms, popular prepared meals and store cupboard essentials. The store will also offer an M&S Bakery, and a Click & Collect service for Clothing & Home products from M&S.com.

As well as creating more than 25 new jobs in the local area, the new-look M&S Wimborne Minster store represents a significant investment in Wimborne’s local economy. Caroline Slowey-Dickinson, Operations Director for Sandpiper Stores, said: “We are really excited to announce that Wimborne Minster’s new M&S store will open at Units 3 & 4 Crown Mead shopping centre on October 12th. The store opening promises to be a significant occasion with Percy Pig™, Wimborne’s Mayor and Town Crier and also pupils from St John’s CE VC First School officiating at the opening. We can’t wait to welcome the local community in to visit the store next month and see it all for themselves.”

The store is located at the Crown Mead Shopping Centre and will be open Monday – Saturday 8am – 8pm, and Sunday 10am – 4pm.
