Sandpiper donates to the Jersey Animal Shelter

Sandpiper donated Easter goodies to the Jersey Animal Shelter in April, where their generous volunteers knitted these adorable little chicks loaded with Cadbury Creme Eggs!

Sandpiper Donates to Guernsey Mental Health

This April, Sandpiper donated a large amount of food to Guernsey Mental Health. All donated food will be used to support cooking events for their service users with learning disabilities and other limitations.

Being able to engage in these types of activities allows their users to exercise their social interaction, cooking, and listening skills while also stimulating their brain and motor systems.

Support Worker, Mariana Virissimo said “Your donations gave us an amazing help and all our service users made the most of it. We ended up having a wonderful afternoon with all of them. “

Brightly Collection Box in Morrisons

“On behalf of Brightly, I would like to say a massive thank you for allowing us to have our collection box in Morrison’s, Queens Road” – Wendy Nerac

We were thrilled to help Brightly, a small independent Jersey charity that works to improve the lives of children and young people in residential care, care leavers, and others who are facing adversity and in need.

Brightly had a donation box in our Morrisons Queen’s Road Store where they raised money for training classes, work clothes, iPads, driving lessons, kitchen goods, doctor, dentist, and optician appointments, and gym memberships for young people.

Sandpiper Donate to Jersey Mencap

Sandpiper donated a significant number of treats for Jersey Mencap’s biggest event of the year, the “15 mile South Coast Walk.” The 15-mile route aims to raise awareness and funds for people with learning disabilities in Jersey.

Mencap’s 15-mile South Coast Walk allows them to raise much-needed funds for their wonderful organisation.
