Meet Barbara Joan Jouanny (née L’Amy) whose Occupation identity card photo was chosen as the basis of the large-scale mosaic.

Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Island’s Liberation, the artwork covers over 1,000 square feet of wall space at Liberty Wharf, Regus and Liberation Station, and features over 6,000 faces of Islanders past and present.

We are delighted to of been part of this phenomenal piece of community art and we hope you enjoy exploring the mosaic which celebrates some of the wonderful faces and stories submitted.

With thanks to ArtHouse Jersey, The People’s Picture and Liberation 75.
