Home-Star Guernsey Easter event

Home-Start Guernsey is a local charity that supports over 150 young children in Guernsey. Trained volunteers offer support and friendship to families struggling with issues such as a child or parent's disability, mental and physical health issues, isolation and multiple births. On Saturday 16th April, they held an Easter egg hunt for these children and ran a variety of fun Easter-themed arts and crafts for them to participate in. We were more than happy to support this event by donating 50 small Easter eggs to Home-Star's tombola.

Dance Floor Challenge 2022 (29th - 30th April)

We were proud to support this year's Dance Floor Challenge by donating Costa Coffee vouchers to the raffle. This year's theme was the 1970s. 16 local celebrities teamed up with 16 dancers from Let's Dance Guernsey. Each pair performed an individual dance of either Latin or Ballroom as well as a group performance. Well done to all who took part, it was such an entertaining weekend!

To help ensure everyone had a memorable Easter, we provided the Good Companions Club with enough fresh lamb to feed all 200 members. We also supplied 200 Easter eggs, so everyone had something to take home with them too.

On Saturday 9th April, Best Star Partnership launched their '50 things to do under 5' app at Millbrook Park. The morning included interactive activities showcasing what's on offer on the island for this age group. We donated 100 bananas for the children to enjoy at their picnic whilst enjoying a story.

Mont a L'abbe School Easter raffle

Mont a L'abbe secondary school is raising money to fund their school prom. Unfortunately due to COVID, they have been unable to have the usual celebrations for their leavers for the last two years. This year, they are aiming to throw an amazing prom, inviting back all their previous leavers, allowing them to enjoy being able to party together after such a long time. For their Easter raffle, we donated an Easter egg hamper.

St Lawrence School

We were delighted to donate an Easter egg to the winner of the St Lawrence School Easter trail competition.

GreenAcres Guernsey

We are delighted to once again support their Easter raffle event by donating some yummy chocolates from Hotel Chocolat. GreenAcres is a local dementia care home that currently houses 47 residents. On Tuesday 12th April, they held their annual Easter raffle which raised a total of £762. This will be put towards a well-deserved trip to Herm/Sark for the residents.
