Iceland in-store Coronation competition
Over the Coronation weekend, we tasked our Iceland stores to dress up their stores ‘Fit for a King’. The best-decorated store and runner-up, as judged by our Food Retail Director, Andrew Holmes, took home the grand prize of £100 and £50 respectively, towards their social fund.
Winner: Iceland Bath Street, Jersey
The overall winner, who had the management team dressed in Union Jack bowler hats and colleagues adorned with paper crowns, was Shaun and his team at Iceland Bath Street. They even went the extra mile by getting in store butchery counter, Gary Whitelaw involved!
Runner-Up: Iceland Vale, Guernsey
Well done to our colleagues at Iceland Vale, who had everything for a right royal knees up from paper cut-outs of King Charles and Union Jacks!
