Wooden Spoon Guernsey
For the Wooden Spoon Guernsey Christmas appeal we were able to donate some amazing auction prizes, with all the funds raised going to help with the children's charity. Their work funds projects to support vulnerable children and young people across the UK and Ireland. The prizes were a; £20 voucher for Costa Coffee, £50 voucher for Crew Clothing CI, £50 voucher for Matalan CI, £50 voucher for Morrisons Daily, £30 voucher for cardfactory, a Hotel Chocolat Christmas Sleekster box and six bags of Winter Fuel from Iceland CI. It was great to be a small part of this valuable fundraiser!
ITV Channel News
ITV Channel News asked us to contribute an auction prize for their Christmas fundraiser. Marks & Spencer King Street provided a festive food hamper that one lucky winner was able to take home on the night.
Anthony Nolan Foundation
The Anthony Nolan Foundation is a charity that focuses on stem cell donors and researches into treatments for blood cancer as well as offering support to those affected by the disease. Our iQ Isle of Man store donated a £50 voucher as a part of a raffle prize to help raise money for the charity.
JSAC Boxing Day Fancy Dress 10km Race
The Jersey Spartan Athletic Club held their annual Boxing Day fancy dress 10km race. There was plenty of competition as santas and elves ran the 10km route whilst singing along to Christmas songs whilst cheers filled the air. Iceland New Era donated 17 boxes of mince pies to help fuel the participants!
JSPCA
As volunteers filled the hallways of the Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal on Christmas Day, Iceland Bath Street donated 31 tubs of sweets as a token of appreciation for volunteers who donated their time to helping in the shelter.
Barnardos Jersey
As a part of the Channel 103 toy appeal, we donated a £30 SandpiperCI voucher to go towards refreshments on the day. A quote from Barnardo's Jersey, "We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated to the Channel 103 toy appeal... you have helped so many children and young people this Christmas."
Jersey Round Table - Santa's Sleigh
As Santa's Sleigh flew around the parishes of Jersey, Morrisons Daily ensured the elves were stocked up with sweet treats to give to children that came out to see the big man himself. Our Benest store donated 20 tubs of sweets and chocolate to spread Christmas cheer around the island.
RNLI Guernsey
The annual RNLI Guernsey Christmas raffle took place in December. We were able to donate two bottles of Champagne as prizes on the night. All proceeds raised at the event were then donated towards the St Peter Port Lifeboats.
International Financial Group Limited
We donated a £50 iQ voucher to Isle of Man-based company International Financial Group Limited, as a raffle prize for their annual Christmas fundraiser. We hope the lucky winner enjoyed their prize!
Jersey Hospice Care Santa Dash
The Jersey Hospice Care Santa Dash was a ho, ho, hoot and a half as hundreds of jolly red runners, including our Sandpiper Striders, gathered in Liberation Square to embark on their race through town. The air was filled with anticipation and the smell of mince pies, thanks to Morrisons Loungeville who donated 200 of them to fuel runners at the finish line.
