Morrisons employee nominated for the Customer Service Employee of the Year 2020

Maria Santos was nominated by Maria Amalia Marques Sequeira for her friendly demeanour when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Maria Sequeira, who described herself as Maria’s best friend said ‘Maria is very good at speaking to customers and is smiling all the time,’ said Ms Sequeira. ‘She is nice to everyone. Whenever I go in, I see the customers and they are always saying “she is so lovely” when they speak about Maria.’ Ms Sequeira added that Maria was also very good at her job, and had a good relationship with her colleagues.

‘She has been working at the store for a few years. She works on the tills, stacking shelves – she does everything,’ said Ms Sequeira. ‘Everyone who works at Morrisons likes working with Maria. She is lovely.’
