Sonia and Charlotte's Santa Run
During the Christmas period last year, two of our Buying team colleagues decided to participate in the Southsea Santa Run, looking the part in full Santa gear whilst running in aid of Rowans Hospice. Sonia and Charlotte raised a massive £1000 from donations for the charity! All of us at SandpiperCI were incredibly proud of them, check out the button below for more details.
Sonia's Sponsored Silence
Our annual Hospice Awareness Week was jam packed with events to raise funds for charity, one of these events was Sonia’s sponsored silence where she had to remain silent for a whole 24 hours! Sonia traded in the office gossip for a good cause and doubled her donation expectation raising £500 for Rowans Hospice.
Other Events at SandpiperCI
Throughout the year other smaller events took place, and every little helps, with a further £398 being raised through events. A big shoutout to Commercial Director Paula and her hens – selling eggs in the office, Buying Admin Best Practitioner Sarah and her cupcake bake sale and not forgetting clothing alterations offered up by Buying assistant and needle whiz Maddie.
SandpiperCI would like to congratulate our Buying team on this amazing fundraising effort. Rowans Hospice and others like it are so vital to our local community and it is crucial that we support these organisations in their efforts to make our community a better place.
